Alright, so yesterday I got all caught up in this buzz about a “big announcement” from Triple H, you know, the WWE guy. It was supposed to drop during the WWE 2024 Preview special on Peacock. I thought, “What’s this all about?” I mean, I gotta stay in the loop with all things WWE, right?
So, I set a reminder for myself and made sure I was parked in front of the TV when the special started. I watched the whole thing, commercials and all, waiting for this big reveal. They kept teasing it, building up the suspense. Honestly, I was on the edge of my seat. Was he coming back? Was there a new show? A merger? My mind was racing.
- First off, I grabbed some snacks. Gotta have snacks for a big event, even if it’s just watching TV.
- Then I made sure my phone was charged. Needed to be ready to tweet or whatever if the news was really huge.
- I even did a little digging online beforehand. Found out Triple H had some health issues a while back. Remembered him stepping back from in-ring stuff after that heart failure scare in 2021. Tough break for the guy, he had that big surgery and all.
And then… nothing. The show ended, and there was no big announcement. I was like, “What? That’s it?” I felt kinda let down, not gonna lie. All that hype for what seemed like a regular preview show. Maybe they mentioned he’s making $2.8 million a year running the creative side of Raw and SmackDown. Big bucks, but not the earth-shattering news I was expecting.

So yeah, that was my experience with the whole Triple H announcement thing. A bit of a letdown, but hey, that’s how it goes sometimes. I guess I got a little too excited.
