So, I got thinking about Triple H the other day. You know, The Game. Big figure in wrestling for ages. We were talking about legendary WrestleMania runs, and his name popped up. I realized, man, this guy’s been in a ton of WrestleManias, but I couldn’t actually remember his win-loss record off the top of my head. Curiosity got the better of me, so I decided to figure it out myself.

First thing, I just went online. Typed something like “Triple H wrestlemania all matches” into the search bar. You get a lot of stuff, right? Fan sites, forums, some official-looking pages. The tricky part was making sure I got everything, like, every single match he actually wrestled in, not just appearances or corner-man stuff. Some lists seemed incomplete, others maybe had matches I didn’t remember him being in.
I figured the best way was to just go chronologically. Start from his first WrestleMania appearance and work my way up. I grabbed a notepad, well, opened a digital one, you know how it is.
My Process: Going Year by Year
Okay, so I started listing them out:
- WrestleMania XII: That quick squash against the Ultimate Warrior. Ouch. That’s a loss.
- WrestleMania 13: Fought Goldust. Got the win there, Chyna helped.
- WrestleMania XIV: European Title match against Owen Hart. Another win.
- WrestleMania XV: Against Kane. Lost that one by DQ, I think? Still a loss on the record.
- WrestleMania 2000 (XVI): The big Fatal Four-Way main event. He retained the title, pinning The Rock. That’s a win.
- WrestleMania X-Seven: The huge clash with The Undertaker. Lost that one.
- WrestleMania X8: Main event against Chris Jericho for the Undisputed title. Won the title. Big win.
- WrestleMania XIX: Against Booker T for the World Heavyweight Championship. Got the win.
- WrestleMania XX: The Triple Threat main event with Shawn Michaels and Chris Benoit. He didn’t get pinned, but Benoit won. So, a loss for HHH.
- WrestleMania 21: Against Batista for the World Heavyweight Championship. Lost the title.
- WrestleMania 22: Against John Cena for the WWE Championship. Tapped out. Another loss.
- WrestleMania 23: Was injured this year, I think? Yeah, pretty sure he missed this one. So no match.
- WrestleMania XXIV: Triple Threat for the WWE Championship against Randy Orton and John Cena. Orton won. Loss for HHH.
- WrestleMania XXV: Defended the WWE Championship against Randy Orton. Got the win.
- WrestleMania XXVI: Against Sheamus. Got the win.
- WrestleMania XXVII: No Holds Barred against The Undertaker. Lost again.
- WrestleMania XXVIII: Hell in a Cell against The Undertaker, with HBK as ref. The “End of an Era” match. Another loss to Taker.
- WrestleMania 29: No Holds Barred against Brock Lesnar, career on the line. He won this one.
- WrestleMania XXX: Lost the opener to Daniel Bryan. Then later in the main event triple threat, Bryan won again. Counts as one match loss for HHH’s record though, the Bryan singles match.
- WrestleMania 31: Against Sting. Got the win, surprisingly.
- WrestleMania 32: Main event against Roman Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Lost the title.
- WrestleMania 33: Non-sanctioned match against Seth Rollins. Lost.
- WrestleMania 34: Mixed tag match with Stephanie McMahon against Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey. Lost.
- WrestleMania 35: No Holds Barred against Batista. Won this one.
Had to double-check a couple of those, especially the multi-man matches, to be sure how the win/loss counts. And yeah, remembered he missed 23 due to injury.
The Final Count
So, after listing all that out and counting them up… let’s see. I counted 10 wins and 13 losses. Wow. That’s actually more losses than wins. Kinda surprising, considering how dominant he always felt, especially around the early 2000s. But man, looking back, he had some tough opponents and iconic matches in there, win or lose. That feud with Undertaker at Mania alone gave him three losses. Anyway, that was my little project. Now I know!
