Well, now, y’all might be wonderin’ ’bout Tyler Stephenson and his wife, Carlyn. Ain’t much to it, but I’ll tell ya what I know. Tyler, he’s the catcher for the Cincinnati Reds, one of them big baseball teams, right? Yep, he’s a fine young man playin’ ball out there in the big leagues. But this story ain’t about the game, it’s about his family, ‘specially his wife, Carlyn, and their lil’ one, Savannah.
Now, Carlyn Odom, that’s Tyler’s wife. They got hitched not too long ago, back before the 2022 MLB season. They’ve been together for a good while now, and from what I hear, they’re real happy. Can’t be easy, though, with him always away for them long seasons and her back home, holdin’ down the fort. But that’s the way it is with folks like him, always on the road, always playin’ in them big stadiums, all them fans cheerin’ him on. Still, they got themselves a nice little family now, which is mighty sweet.
They got a precious lil’ girl, Savannah Frankie Stephenson, who was born on June 28. Ain’t that a fine name for a sweet child? That was their first little one, so you can imagine how excited they both were. Tyler, he posted about it on Instagram, talkin’ about his joy and all. Sayin’ how much he loved his wife, Carlyn, and their new bundle of joy. He even shared a picture of them together—oh, how happy they all looked! It’s always nice to see a family so full of love.
From what I hear, Tyler was in South Carolina when Carlyn was gettin’ ready to have the baby. She was gettin’ induced, and Tyler, well, he was makin’ sure he was there to support her. It’s mighty important for the fella to be by his wife’s side when she’s bringin’ new life into the world. Tyler and Carlyn, they knew they was about to become parents, and that’s somethin’ big to be lookin’ forward to.
Now, this Savannah, she came into this world on June 28, and Tyler, he was just so happy. He said it on his Instagram, all proud-like. Can’t blame him, though. When you have a little one, your heart just bursts with joy, don’t it? And I reckon little Savannah is gonna grow up with all kinds of love ‘round her, between her mama Carlyn and her daddy Tyler.

Just back in April, he posted somethin’ real sweet, sayin’ “Happy birthday to the love of my life!” And you can tell, he’s not just talkin’ ‘bout his wife, he’s also showin’ that love in the way he supports her, and now with their lil’ girl Savannah, it’s just somethin’ beautiful to see.
But with all that baseball, the man sure don’t get much time at home. Ain’t easy being a pro ballplayer and bein’ away from your family. But Tyler and Carlyn, they seem to make it work somehow. And now, they got their hands full with a newborn, but I bet they wouldn’t have it any other way.
