Yesterday, I decided to go check out the UConn basketball arena, you know, just to see what all the fuss is about. I’ve heard a lot about it, but never actually been there myself.
Getting There
First things first, I had to figure out how to get there. I hopped on my phone, did a quick search, and found the place is called the Harry A. Gampel Pavilion. Cool name, right?
Tickets and Seats
Next up, tickets. I browsed around a bit and found an online ticket office. It had these seating charts, which were super helpful. I wanted a good view, but I also didn’t want to break the bank. I noticed they mentioned something about “premium courtside seating” which sounded fancy, but probably way out of my budget. They also had info about ADA seating, which is good to know, It’s first-come, first-served, and you can find out more on their website. I ended up picking a seat somewhere in the middle, seemed like a good balance.
Checking Out the Schedule
I also looked up the Connecticut Huskies schedule. I mean, if I’m going to the arena, I might as well try to catch a game, right? They had all the info on their page: schedule, scores, stats, you name it.
Other Stuff I Found
- There are also some places nearby to grab food or delivery, that offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
- Some website also talked about the Hartford XL Center seating and UConn student sections.
Overall, it was a pretty productive day of research. I’m actually kind of excited to go see a game now. I’ll probably go in the next few weeks. Who knows, maybe I’ll even become a regular!
