Okay, so today I wanted to dig into Phil Mickelson’s scores at the Masters. You know, just curious about how he’s done over the years, especially with those green jackets he’s got.

Finding the Scores – My Steps
First thing I did was just sit down with my tablet. Figured the internet was the quickest way. Opened up my usual web browser.
Then I went to my favorite search engine. Didn’t overthink it, just typed in something like “Phil Mickelson Masters scores history”. Simple enough, right? Hit the search button.
Got a whole load of results back, like usual. Saw links for the main sports websites, you know, the big names. Also saw the official Masters site listed, and the PGA Tour site too. Sometimes Wikipedia pops up high for this stuff as well.
I usually like to check the official sources if I can, seems more reliable for stats. So, I clicked the link that looked like it belonged to the Masters tournament website. Hoped it would be easy to find.
Once the site loaded, I had a little look around. Scanned the menu, looking for things like ‘Results’, ‘History’, ‘Tournament Info’, or maybe ‘Players’. Found a section that seemed right, I think it was under ‘Stats’ or ‘History’.
Then I had to find Phil specifically. Sometimes there’s a search bar within the site, other times you just scroll through a list of players. Found his name, clicked on it, or it took me to a page with player records.
The information was laid out pretty well. It showed a list, year by year, of his appearances:
- The year he played in the Masters.
- His scores for each of the four rounds.
- His total score for the week.
- And importantly, where he finished – like if he won, or was runner-up, or missed the cut.
I scrolled through that for a bit. It was cool seeing the numbers for his wins in 2004, 2006, and 2010. Also interesting to see the years he didn’t play so well, or maybe missed the cut. It gives you the full picture.

Just to double-check, I also quickly looked at one of the big sports news sites. Went there, used their search function for Phil Mickelson, found his player page, and looked at his Masters results there too. The numbers lined up with what I saw on the official site, so felt confident I had the right info.
Honestly, it wasn’t complicated. Just needed a clear search query to start, and then a little bit of clicking around on one or two reliable websites. Took maybe five, ten minutes tops to get a good look at his entire Masters record. Pretty neat to see it all listed out like that.
