Alright, listen up, y’all. Let’s talk about them Walking Mausoleums in that Elden Ring game. You know, them big ol’ things walkin’ around like they own the place.
First off, there’s a bunch of ’em, seven to be exact, scattered all over the Lands Between. Don’t go thinkin’ they’re gonna wander off too far, though. They stick to their spots, kinda like them stubborn cows back home.
Now, these Mausoleums, they ain’t just for show. They got this thing called Remembrances inside. Think of it like, uh… like a special prize you get after whippin’ a tough boss. You can use these Remembrances to get yourself some powerful stuff, like weapons or spells. Or, if you’re feelin’ lazy, you can just sell ’em for a bunch of Runes. That’s like money, you know.
Some of these Remembrances, they’re from real important folks, like demigods. You gotta find a special Mausoleum with a bell to get the goodies from them. Others, well, you can use any ol’ Mausoleum you find. It’s like, some folks got fancy tastes, and some just care about gettin’ the job done, ya hear?
- Special Remembrances: Like, from them demigod fellas. Gotta find a Mausoleum with a bell.
- Regular Remembrances: Any Mausoleum will do. Fire Giant, Lichdragon, that kinda stuff.
- Elden Remembrance: That’s the big one. You get it from beatin’ the final boss. Can trade it for a whole lotta Runes or get some real powerful stuff.
Let’s talk about where to find these things. That first one, it’s in the Weeping Peninsula. Always rainin’ over there, real gloomy place. I tell ya, it makes my bones ache just thinkin’ about it. But if you want that Remembrance, you gotta go where it is, right?
Then there’s this place called the Mausoleum Compound. Got two of ’em there. But these fellas are picky. They only work with Remembrances from folks who ain’t demigods. Like that Fire Giant, big ol’ fella, or that creepy Lichdragon. Don’t go tryin’ to give ’em somethin’ fancy, they won’t take it.
Now, gettin’ into these Mausoleums ain’t always easy. Some of ’em got those barnacles, those white things, all over their legs. You gotta knock ’em off before you can get inside. Use your horse, use your sword, whatever you gotta do. Just get rid of ’em.
And then there’s this one Mausoleum… it’s a pain, I tell ya. You gotta jump on it from up high. But don’t you worry none, there’s this spiritspring thing nearby. You can use that to get up high and try again if you miss. And if you fall, you won’t die. So it ain’t so bad, just gotta keep tryin’.
So, to sum it up, you go around, you find these big walkin’ things, you knock off the barnacles if they got ’em, and then you go inside and get your Remembrances. Then you use them Remembrances to get stronger or get some Runes. Simple as that. Just like farmin’, gotta put in the work to get the rewards. Now go on, git!
Remember, that Elden Remembrance is the top prize. From that final boss, Radagon and the Elden Beast. You can get a whole lot of Runes for it, 50,000 they say. Or you can take it to that Enia lady at the Roundtable Hold and get somethin’ real special. It’s your choice, but make it a good one.
And don’t forget, there’s different Remembrances. Like the Remembrance of the Grafted, that’s from Godrick. He was a nasty one. You gotta know which Remembrance you got and which Mausoleum will take it. It’s all about payin’ attention, just like knowin’ which crops to plant when.
So that’s the long and short of it. Go find them Mausoleums, get them Remembrances, and get yourself stronger. It ain’t rocket science. Just good ol’ fashioned work, that’s all it is.
