So, today I tried to customize my Nintendo avatar, and let me tell you, it was quite the experience.
First off, I turned on my Nintendo Switch and went straight to the home menu. I was like, “Alright, let’s do this.” I clicked on my user profile, you know, the one at the top left of the screen. Then, I hit “Edit profile.” It’s pretty straightforward so far, right?
Next, I saw the option “Change User Icon.” That’s where the fun starts. I mean, who doesn’t want to personalize their stuff? I tapped on that, and I had a couple of choices. I could pick a Mii image or go with something else. For those who don’t know, a Mii is basically a little cartoon version of yourself that you can create.
I started messing around with the Mii creator. This was kinda fun but also, it’s like, “How do I make this look like me without being too weird?” You get to choose the face shape, the hairstyle, the eyes, the eyebrows, everything. It was a bit tricky getting it just right, but I got the avatar I desired.
I know there are other ways to customize your Switch, like adding skins or decals. I’ve seen some people with those, and they look pretty cool, but I haven’t tried that yet. Maybe someday.
Anyway, after I finished up with my Mii, I saved it, and bam, there it was, my new little avatar. It’s a small thing, but it kinda makes the whole experience feel a bit more personal.
So yeah, that’s how I customized my Nintendo avatar today. It was a fun little project, and now my Switch feels a little more like “mine.” If you haven’t tried it yet, you should give it a shot. It’s a neat way to add a personal touch to your gaming setup.
