Alright, so I wanted to check out the player stats for that Knicks vs Golden State Warriors game the other day. You know how it is, you watch a game or hear the result, and you get curious about who really showed up and who didn’t.

First thing I did was just hop on my computer. Opened up a browser window and went to my usual search engine. Nothing fancy.
I typed in something simple, probably like knicks warriors player stats or maybe golden state knicks box score. Hit enter and saw what came up.
Got a load of results back, naturally. Lots of news articles talking about the game, the final score was right there at the top, maybe some video highlights. But I was looking for the nitty-gritty, the numbers for each player.
Digging a Bit Deeper
So, I scrolled past the news headlines. I usually look for links that seem like they’ll lead to a proper sports stats site. You know, the big names that cover basketball regularly. Didn’t click any ads or weird looking sites, just aimed for something reputable that looked like it would have official game data.
Found one that looked promising and clicked through. Landed on a page probably showing the game summary or schedule.
From there, I had to look around a bit. Usually there’s a specific link or tab for Box Score or maybe just Stats associated with that particular game. Found that link and clicked on it.
Getting the Numbers
Bingo! That brought up the page I was looking for. It had the full breakdown:
- Team lists: All the players who participated for the Knicks.
- And the Warriors: Same thing for Golden State on the other side.
- The stats columns: Minutes played (MIN), points (PTS), rebounds (REB), assists (AST), steals (STL), blocks (BLK), field goals made and attempted (FG M-A), 3-pointers (3P M-A), free throws (FT M-A), turnovers (TO), all that good stuff.
So I started scanning through. Looked at the starters for both teams, checked their points and shooting percentages. Then scrolled down to see who contributed off the bench. Sometimes you find some interesting performances there too.

I spent a few minutes just looking over the numbers, comparing key players, seeing who had an efficient night versus who struggled. It gives you a better picture than just the final score.
And yeah, that was pretty much it. Just a bit of searching, clicking a couple of links on a familiar sports page, and there were all the player stats laid out. Found exactly what I was looking for. Simple process, really.
