Alright, so I got this mission, this quest, whatever you call it, called “The Collector” in Escape from Tarkov. Man, let me tell you, it was a journey. I heard it’s like the ultimate endgame thing to do in Tarkov, and boy, were they right.
First off, I had to find a whole bunch of stuff. We’re talking about a real scavenger hunt here. Some of the items are just random things you stumble upon, but others? They had me running all over the place. I hit up every nook and cranny I could think of, looted every container, checked every hiding spot. It felt like I was exploring every inch of the map.
The hardest part, though, was definitely the waiting. See, some items only appear after you’ve done other quests, like these “Assessment” ones. So, I was stuck grinding through those, just hoping to get lucky. I spent hours running to the chalets, looting everything I could find, and then doing it all over again. It was a real test of patience, I’ll say that much.
After all that, the final step was to hand everything in. I found out you give these to Therapist for Postman Pat Part 2, and you can only get part 2 from Therapist at the same time you get part 1 from Prapor. It was the light at the end of the tunnel. It’s a bit tricky because you have to hand it to therapist to complete both tasks.
Finally handing over all those items was such a relief. I felt like I’d accomplished something big. And you know what? I kinda did. This quest is no joke. It takes time, effort, and a whole lot of luck. But that feeling of finally completing it? That’s what makes it all worth it.
So, if you’re thinking about tackling “The Collector,” just be prepared for a long haul. It’s not something you can just knock out in a day. But hey, if I can do it, so can you. Just remember to pack some snacks, because you’re gonna be in Tarkov for a while.
