Okay, let me tell you what I did today in Dreamlight Valley. I decided I wanted to make some Spicy Baked Bream. Seemed like a decent dish, you know? Something different.

Getting Started – The Plan
First thing, I checked what I needed. Looked it up, saw it needed Bream, a Chili Pepper, and Butter. Alright, seemed doable. Didn’t have all that just lying around in my chests, though. Typical.
Gathering the Goods
So, the hunt began. Bream… where do you get that? Ah, Peaceful Meadow. Easy enough. I headed over there, got my fishing rod out. Took a few tries, caught some other fish first, but eventually, splash! Got myself a Bream. Nice.
Next up: Chili Pepper. I knew exactly where to go for that – Sunlit Plateau. Ran over there. Found some chili plants pretty quick, thankfully. Plucked a nice red one. One down, one to go.
Last thing was Butter. Now, you can’t just find butter growing on a bush, right? Had to go see Remy. Went over to his restaurant, Chez Remy. Bought some Butter from his pantry section. Always good to have some staples from him anyway.
Cooking Time
Alright, ingredients secured! Felt good. Found the nearest cooking station – I think I used the one in my house, keeps things simple. Opened up the cooking menu. Threw the Bream in the pot. Added the Chili Pepper. Tossed in the Butter.
Needed some Coal, of course. Always gotta have coal. Used one piece. Started the cooking… watched that little progress bar fill up.
The Result – Spicy Baked Bream!
And boom! Out came the Spicy Baked Bream. Looked pretty good, actually. Nice little baked fish dish with a bit of a kick, visually speaking. It’s a 3-star recipe, so decent energy boost if you eat it. I just put it in my inventory for now, might need it for a quest later or maybe give it to a villager. Job done. Making that Spicy Baked Bream was today’s little project.
