Okay, so, a few days ago, I got curious about this little guy, Hasbulla, who’s been all over the internet. I kept seeing his videos and was like, “Who is this dude?” So, I started digging.
First, I checked out some of his viral videos. I mean, you’ve probably seen them too – the guy’s tiny but has a huge personality. Then I started wondering, “What language does he even speak?” I mean he talks a lot in his videos, but I couldn’t understand a word.
So, I hit up Google. You know, the usual. Typed in “what language does Hasbulla speak.” And guess what? Turns out, he’s from a place called Dagestan in Russia. Apparently, he speaks the Dagestani language, which, honestly, I’d never even heard of before. I went down a rabbit hole reading about Dagestan and its languages. It’s pretty fascinating stuff, to be honest.
And then, I found this other bit that said he mostly speaks Russian and is always with his translator when traveling. I noticed in some of the videos that sometimes he speaks English or Arabic, probably just a few words he knows. I mean, it makes sense, right? If you’re a global internet sensation, you probably pick up a few phrases here and there.
