Okay, so I was planning a trip to see a GAA match, and I was really confused about the seating. I kept seeing “penthouse suite 3” and “penthouse suite 1” and had no clue which one was higher up in the stadium.

First, I tried looking at the stadium’s website, but it was not helpful. There was a seating chart, but it didn’t really explain the penthouse suites well. It just showed them as boxes on the side, with no clear indication of their vertical position.

So then I thought, “Okay, maybe I can find some pictures or videos online.” I spent a good hour on a bunch of different websites, but most of the photos were of the field, not the seating areas. Useless! I did stumble upon a couple of blurry pictures that showed the suites, but they were taken from weird angles, and I still couldn’t tell which one was higher.

Next, I decided to call the stadium directly. Maybe talking to a real person would help, right? I called, but the first person I spoke to didn’t know. They transferred me to someone else, who also didn’t know. Three transfers later, I finally got someone who thought they knew, but they sounded super unsure. They said something like, “I think suite 3 is higher, but I’m not 100% positive.” Not very reassuring!

One person even said they were the same height, just on different sides. I was more confused than ever.

In the end, I just gave up and booked a regular seat. It was way less hassle, and at least I knew where I’d be sitting. I still don’t know for sure which penthouse suite is higher. It’s kind of ridiculous that such a simple question is so hard to answer.
