This Alex Pereira, he’s a tough guy, you know? Everybody keeps asking, when is Alex Pereira fight? Well, I heard some folks talking ’bout it down at the market the other day. They was saying he’s got a big fight coming up. Seems like every time you turn around, that boy’s in the ring, beatin’ someone up.
They say this next one, it’s gonna be a real doozy. He’s fighting this other fella, what’s his name… Khalil Rountree Jr. Yeah, that’s it. They say this Rountree fella is tough, too. He’s ranked number eight, whatever that means. I guess that means he’s pretty good at this fightin’ business.
When and Where’s This Fight?
Now, if you wanna know when this big fight is happening, they say it’s gonna be on October 5, 2024. Mark it down on your calendars. And they’re having it in some place called Salt Lake City, at the Delta Center. Sounds fancy, don’t it? I ain’t never been to Salt Lake City. I bet it’s a long ways from here. I heard some young people talking about UFC 307. Must be this one.
They say this Alex Pereira, he’s already beat a bunch of other fellas. One of ’em was named Jiri Prochazka. He beat him real good, knocked him right out! They say he just won the last fight by a head-kick KO. Sound painful.

He’s a Champ, They Say
This Pereira fella, they call him the champ. He’s got some kind of belt, I reckon. A light heavyweight belt. Sounds heavy. He’s been defending that belt like a mama bear with her cubs. They say this fight in October is gonna be him defending it again. I heard it’s the third time this year. He’s been busy.
I seen a picture of him once. He’s a big, strong-looking fella. Got all them muscles. And he’s from Brazil. That’s far, far away. They must grow them tough down there in Brazil.
They say last month he defended his title, that is, beat the heck out of another man, maybe Rountree, by TKO in the fourth round. I don’t know what it means, but that’s what they say. They say he’s going to defend his title, and the Alex Pereira fight is gonna be the main event. Sounds important, right? This Rountree must be scared.
Everybody’s Talking ‘Bout It
You can’t go nowhere these days without hearing folks talking ’bout this fight. When is Alex Pereira fight? It’s all anyone can talk about. They’re all excited to see these two fellas go at it. They say it’s gonna be a real barn burner.
I don’t know much about this fighting stuff, but I know it’s a big deal. Lots of folks watch it on the TV. They get all riled up, yelling and screaming at the screen. It’s quite a sight to see.
Some people, they like to bet money on these fights. They think they know who’s gonna win. I don’t know about that. Seems like a risky way to make a dollar. But to each their own, I reckon.
This Rountree Fella
Now, this Rountree fella, they say he’s no pushover. He’s a tough cookie, too. He’s been winning a lot of fights, they say. He must be pretty good to be fighting the champ.
But I don’t know. This Alex Pereira, he seems like a real force to be reckoned with. He’s got that look in his eye, you know? Like he’s ready to take on the world. It must be scary to fight him.
It’s Gonna Be a Big One
Anyways, this fight, it’s gonna be a big one. Everyone’s waiting to see what’s gonna happen. Will the champ keep his belt? Or will this Rountree fella take it from him? They say the fight will headline the UFC 307. I wonder if I can watch it on TV. Maybe my neighbor will invite me.
