Okay, so I wanted to figure out who the heck was announcing the New York Yankees games. It’s not like it’s plastered everywhere, you know? So, I started digging.

First, I hit up the usual spots. You know, I googled “New York Yankees announcers” and stuff like that. I got a bunch of names, but nothing really concrete about who was calling which game.
My Process
- Step 1: The General Search. Like I said, just a basic search to get the lay of the land.
- Step 2: Team Website. Figured the official Yankees site would have something, right? Sometimes they do, sometimes it’s buried. I poked around there for a bit.
- Step 3: TV/Radio Listings. This is where it got a little trickier. I had to check the TV schedule, see who was broadcasting the game (YES Network, ESPN, whatever), and then try to find their announcer lineup. It’s a bit of a maze!
- Step 4: Social Media (Sometimes). If I was still stuck, I’d sometimes check Twitter. People love to complain about announcers, so you can occasionally find out who’s calling the game that way! It’s not foolproof, but it’s something.
It was pretty much a hunt. Check the game, see who’s broadcasting, find their announcer list, and boom, finally got my answer. It’s not always easy, but that’s how I got there.
Seriously some networks make it way harder than it needs to be!
