Alright, so listen up, y’all. We’re gonna talk about this Stacy Carter gal. Don’t know her? Well, she used to be a rassler, you know, like them folks on TV, always jumpin’ around and smackin’ each other.
Stacy Carter, The Kat, Whatever You Wanna Call Her
Now, this Stacy, she was born way back in 1970, September 29th to be exact, down in Memphis, Tennessee. Yep, that’s right, down south like me. Heard tell she was a real firecracker even back then. Folks mostly know her as Miss Kitty or The Kat. Don’t ask me why they called her that, city folks got strange names for things, I tell ya.
She wasn’t one of them main rasslers, though. Nah, she was more of a… what they call it… a valet. That means she walked them big ol’ muscle men down to the ring, you know, kinda like a show pony. But don’t you go thinkin’ she was just a pretty face. This gal, she had sass. She could talk smack with the best of ‘em and she wasn’t afraid to get in the mix neither.
- Born: September 29, 1970
- Place of Birth: Memphis, Tennessee
- Also known as: Miss Kitty, The Kat
- Job: Wrestling Valet, sometimes a wrestler herself
WWF Days and That Hall of Famer Fella
She got her start with that big wrestling company, the WWF, back in ‘99. August, I think it was. Folks started noticin’ her when she started managin’ this Chyna fella, a real big shot, a Hall of Famer they say. Just four months after she showed up, boom, she’s all over the TV. That’s what I call makin’ a splash. They had some kind of story going on, you know how them wrestling shows are, always makin’ up stuff to keep folks entertained. I ain’t complainin’ though, it was somethin’ to watch on a Saturday night.
She wasn’t just standin’ around, though. Sometimes she’d get in the ring herself, you know, give them other girls a piece of her mind. She wasn’t the strongest, but she was scrappy, like a little banty hen. Always peckin’ and kickin’.
Gone Too Soon, Just Like That
But then, just as quick as she showed up, she was gone. By 2001, February I think, the WWF let her go. Don’t know why, exactly. Heard some talk, but you know how rumors are, mostly just hot air. Maybe she got tired of it all, maybe they got tired of her. Who knows? But it was a shame, she was fun to watch. Always stirrin’ up trouble.
What’s She Up To Now?
Now, I ain’t heard much about her lately. She probably went on to do other things, you know. Maybe she got married, had some kids, settled down somewhere quiet. Or maybe she’s still out there, kickin’ up dust somewhere. Life’s funny that way, you never know where it’s gonna take ya.
So, that’s the story of Stacy Carter, or Miss Kitty, or The Kat, whatever you wanna call her. She was a rassler, a valet, a firecracker, and for a little while there, she was a big deal. And that’s all there is to it. Now, go on and get yourself somethin’ to eat. All this talkin’s made me hungry.
And remember, wrestling ain’t real. It’s just a show, like them soap operas them city folks watch. But it sure is fun, ain’t it?
