Okay, so I’ve been seeing a TON of chatter online about NCAA 25, especially about whether or not Mascot Mode is gonna be in it. I was super curious myself, so I decided to dig in and find out for sure. Here’s what I did:
Scouring the Web for Clues
First thing I did was hit up Google. I typed in everything I could think of: “NCAA 25 Mascot Mode,” “will NCAA 25 have mascot mode,” “mascot mode confirmed,” the whole nine yards. I spent a good chunk of time just reading through articles, forum posts, and Reddit threads. It was a lot of mixed messages, to be honest. Some folks were hopeful, others were doubtful.
Checking Official Sources
Then, I figured, “Go straight to the source!” So I went to the EA Sports website. Looked around there. I checked out all of the news, the announcements, the feature deep dives. Checked it like, five times, I went up and down and side to side and couldn’t find anything.
Putting it All Together
After all that searching, here’s the deal. It’s pretty clear, at least for now. I put all my research findings together and found the same consistent message everywhere.
It looks like Mascot Mode is NOT going to be in College Football 25.
From what I understand, the EA Sports team is focusing on other, like, “more advanced” features. Sounds like they felt like Mascot Mode wasn’t really, you know, necessary anymore.
- I read that they are prioritizing things like Dynasty Mode and Road to Glory.
- They did state that, apparently, in the old NCAA games it used to be possible to just run around as the mascots, but it’s not something on their priority this time.
So yeah, that’s the scoop! I’m a little bummed, ngl, ’cause running around as a giant, goofy mascot sounds hilarious. But, hey, I’m still hyped for the game! Just gotta get my kicks in other ways, I guess.
