Alright, listen up, y’all. Let’s talk about this wrestling stuff, this “wwe match card” thing. I don’t know much about fancy names or nothin’, but I can tell you what’s what when it comes to a good ol’ fight.
So, they got this thing called “Saturday Night’s Main Event,” happening in some place called Long Island, New York. Sounds fancy, but it just means a bunch of fellas gonna be throwin’ each other around. They got all sorts of matches lined up, like an 8-man tag team thing. That’s eight guys, four on each side, beatin’ the tar outta each other. Some group called “The Wyatt Sicks” are gonna fight some other group called “Final Testament”. And that Miz fella, he’s mixed up in it too. Sounds like a whole lotta chaos to me.
Then there’s this lady, Rhea Ripley, she’s gonna wrestle Raquel Rodriguez. Big, strong gals, them two. And some other girls, Lyra Valkyria, Zelina Vega, and Ivy Nile, they’re gonna fight for some belt. A “Women’s Intercontinental Championship,” they call it. Sounds important, I guess. They gonna be scrappin’ that’s for sure.
Now, they got this other big fight, a “WarGames” match. Sounds scary, don’t it? It’s like a big cage, and two teams go at it. The “OG Bloodline” and the “New Bloodline.” Jey Uso and Tama Tonga, they started the whole thing, and it got real ugly real fast. Lots of yellin’ and punchin’. That’s what I like to see!
You know, these wrestlers, they put their bodies through a lot. I heard somewhere that for every thousand times they wrestle or practice, a bunch of ’em get hurt. Sometimes they even get their heads banged up so bad they can’t wrestle no more. It’s a tough business, this wrestlin’. And you know what? They make a pretty penny doin’ it too. Heard tell they make somethin’ like $125,000 a year on average, that’s a lot of dough! Guess it’s worth it if you like getting tossed around like a rag doll.
- They got all sorts of names for these matches. WarGames, 8-Man Tag Team, Championship matches. Confusin’ if you ask me.
- But it all boils down to the same thing: two people, or two teams, tryin’ to pin each other or make the other one give up. Simple as that.
This “WWE” thing, it used to be called somethin’ else, I think. WWF or somethin’. They changed the name a while back, somethin’ about a fight with some animal folks, the World Wildlife Fund. Don’t make no difference to me. They still be wrestlin’.
And speaking of changes, they got this fella, CM Punk, he’s back. And another one, Bronson Reed. They messed around with the “Survivor Series” card, added them in. Guess they wanted to spice things up a bit. Wrestling is always changin’, always somethin’ new, it seems like.
I ain’t sure what all the fuss is about with this “wwe match card,” but it sounds like a whole heap of fightin’ is gonna happen. And that’s somethin’ I can understand. Fists flyin’, bodies slammin’, the crowd goin’ wild. That’s entertainment, I reckon. Just hope them fellas and gals don’t get hurt too bad. They gotta be tough to do what they do.
So, there you have it. My take on this “wwe match card.” Not fancy, not complicated, just plain speakin’ about plain fightin’. That’s the way I like it. Now, go on and watch these fellas and gals wrestle. Just don’t expect me to remember all them fancy names and moves. I just like to watch ’em scrap!
Wrestling is wrestling, no matter what you call it.
