Okay, so today I was messing around with some old basketball game footage, specifically focusing on LeBron James and Dwyane Wade. I wanted to create a highlight reel, a sort of tribute to their amazing teamwork during their Miami Heat days.

First, I dug up a bunch of game clips. I spent a good hour just scrolling through YouTube and some old hard drives. I was mainly looking for those iconic alley-oops and no-look passes between them. Finding the right clips was a bit of a chore, to be honest, lots of digging through full game videos.
My Process:
- Gathering Clips: This was the longest part. I had to watch so many games, and make notes on time stamps.
- Importing into Editing Software:I then dumped all my selected clips into my video editing program. Nothing fancy, just a basic one.
- Cutting and Arranging:Then came the fun part – actually chopping up the clips and piecing them together. I wanted to get that fast-paced, exciting feel, so I focused on quick cuts and dynamic transitions.
- Adding Music:Of course I added background music.
- Exporting: Finally, I exported the finished video. Took a while to render, but it was worth it!
It wasn’t super professional or anything, but it was pretty cool to see all those amazing plays back-to-back. It really showcased how well LeBron and Wade played together. Their chemistry on the court was just insane.
It made my friend have fun to watch those videos again.
