So, I’ve been playing this new game, Zenless Zone Zero, or “ZZZ” for short. It’s pretty cool, but I was running into a problem figuring out where to spend a certain type of currency.
I kept racking up these things called “Investigation Merits” and “Z-Merits”. They’re both currencies, which is great, but like, where do I actually use them? I opened up the menus and went through all the options, I was clicking around like crazy, looking for a shop or something, but I couldn’t find anything that used these merits. It was driving me nuts!
Finally found it!
Turns out, you gotta go to a specific spot in the game. I went to the Scott Outpost, and there it was: the “Logistics Shop”. This is where you can spend your Z-Merits. They have all sorts of stuff in there – items, upgrade materials, you name it. I felt pretty dumb for not finding it sooner, but hey, it happens.
But I was still missing what to do with the investigation merits. I kept on playing, doing these things called “Hollow Zero explorations”. You go into these weird, kind of dangerous areas and fight monsters. Turns out, when you complete these explorations, you get “Investigation Points”. Keep collecting these, and they eventually turn into Investigation Merits. I was building up a nice stash of those without realizing it!
- Go to Scott Outpost
- Find the “Logistics Shop” for Z-Merits
- Complete “Hollow Zero explorations”
- Rack up “Investigation Points” which become “Investigation Merits”
Where to use Investigation merits
Now, for the Investigation Merits, those were trickier. There’s also another area called the “Outpost”. Once I went to there, I found a shop called “Association Supplies”. This is the spot for spending those Investigation Merits! They have different stuff than the Logistics Shop, it’s kind of a cool way to keep things interesting.
Anyways, if you’re playing ZZZ and you’re confused about where to spend these currencies, hopefully, this helps you out. It took me a while to figure it out, but now that I know, I’m stocking up on all the good stuff!
